The sensor series from Philips Dynalite combines functions for motion detection, light level sensing, and IR reception in one device. All functions can be performed simultaneously, so that lamps, for example, can be switched on after motion detection and then dimmed according to the brightness of the incident daylight. This enables further energy savings. The combination in a single device enables a significantly more efficient use. Each sensor is equipped with an integrated microprocessor that provides all the logical functions required to control a small room, a floor, or an entire building. All sensors are powered via the DyNet network. They can be fully programmed externally, so they can automatically control a virtually unlimited number of controlled outputs.
