The wall socket has a ground connection made of high-quality brass. All connection terminals are located on the base top and are suitable for accommodating 2 single wires (2.5 mm²). The stripping length (14 mm) of the wires is permanently marked on the base back. Claws are used for mounting in a flush-mounted box with gripping surfaces, which are tightened using screws with universal screw head (Pz2 or slot 1 x 5.5 mm). The claws, which have a grip depth of 23.5 mm, return to their original position when unscrewed. The installation frame has a metal thickness of 1 mm and is brightly galvanized on all sides after cutting, including on the cut edges. At the height of the horizontal and vertical axes, the installation frame has 4 screw slots for screw mounting in flush-mounted boxes. These screw slots have a screw hole with a diameter of 7 mm. For mounting on panels, the installation frame is equipped with 4 screw holes (marked with a screw symbol) with a diameter of 3 mm. The center of the installation frame is marked both in the horizontal and vertical direction (guide line, laser ...) so that the installation of one or more mechanisms can be carried out quickly and easily. On all sides, the base has folded swallowtails, making it possible to quickly and smoothly connect several bases both horizontally and vertically (center-to-center distance 71 x 71 mm). The folded edges on the outside of the base as well as the continuation inward provide additional robustness. The 4 rectangular openings (7 x 2.5 mm) in the installation frame can bridge a clearance of 1 to 1.2 mm if the flush-mounted box protrudes from the plaster. With such a clearance, the cover can still fit snugly against the wall.
