Used XBO® reflector lamps should therefore be stored in an inaccessible location and in the supplied protective sleeve or with the protective cap fitted until they are disposed of.Used XBO® reflector lamps must be handed over for disposal in the undamaged original packaging or the pressure in the lamp is released before being handed over. To do this, the lamp must be completely covered with leather or a coarse, thick fabric. With protective clothing in place (safety goggles, gloves and suitable protection for the neck area, e.g. thick scarf), the XBO® reflector lamp must be shattered with a suitable tool so that the fill gas escapes from the burner.
