To do this, the lamp must be completely covered with leather or a coarse, thick fabric. With protective clothing in place (safety goggles, gloves and suitable protection for the neck area, e.g. thick scarf), the XBO® reflector lamp must be shattered with a suitable tool so that the fill gas escapes from the burner.
